What’s happening
Some Aetna, Central Health, and Sharp Health Plan Medicare plans in San Diego County will end on December 31, 2026. If you are on one of these plans, you should receive a letter from your plan letting you know.
The good news: you have time, and you have choices. You can choose a new plan during the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 to December 7), or during a Special Enrollment Period that runs December 8 to February 28.
If you do not choose a new plan, you will be moved to Original Medicare. Talking with an agent now can help make sure your coverage continues without a gap.
