Experts tell White House Coronavirus can spread through talking or even just breathing
A prestigious scientific panel informed the White House that the Coronavirus can be transmitted by sneezing or coughing. They claim that it can be transmitted by speaking or possibly by breathing.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, lead of the coronavirus task force mentioned to CNN that the idea of wearing face masks to prevent the spread of this virus is under “very active discussion” by the group.
“While the current [coronavirus] specific research is limited, the results of available studies are consistent with aerosolization of virus from normal breathing,” according to the letter, written by Dr. Harvey Fineberg, chairman of a committee with the National Academy of Sciences.Fineberg told CNN that he will start wearing a mask when he goes to the grocery store.
